We received an update from Livingston School in New Orleans. Last summer, we partnered with the Spirit of Harmony Foundation and donated over 70 band instruments to help the school start a music program. Here’s what they said:
“Our music program is thriving! Our program is taking shape in a few different ways and growing stronger by the day. We launched our school year with music instruction to all students. The kids were taught the basics and provided a foundation on which to build. We’re excited for them to march this season and our students will be able to participate in the parade season. Given the challenges in starting a program we never envisioned that we’d be able to march in our first year.
